Know-It-All-Nation Discord Poll: Top 3 Indie Wrestlers

So a couple weeks back I joined the Dave knows Wrestling Discord (like and subscribe to Dave Knows Wrestling's Youtube), which now has been rebranded as Know-It-All-Nation. In this discord fans of youtuber, David Lee, and wrestling in general come together from all over the world (mainly the US and the UK) and talk about wrestling. So I asked the members of the discord who were the top three independent wrestlers of today. Three names popped up the most frequent Willie Mac, Sami Callihan, and Pentagon Jr.

Willie Mac

The one the came up the most was Willie Mac, I have to agree with him being on this list, the man is an amazing athlete, and has a ton of agility that I've never see in a big man before since Vader and Bam Bam Bigelow.  During his time floating around the indies, Willie Mac has been featured in various United Wrestling Network Promotions, Lucha Underground, was the NWA National Heavyweight Champion, until his loss to Colt Cabana in the 2019 Crockett Cup PPV, and has recently been wrestling on Impact Wrestling. The man has came a long way from his humble beginnings.

The second wrestler to pop up frequently is Sami Callihan. Callihan was best known for his tenure in Combat Zone Wrestling, until he destroyed Eddie Edwards' face in Impact Wrestling. That incident was considered the moment of the year in 2018 and Callihan was awarder wrestler of the year for that year by Impact Wrestling. Callihan is also wrestles in Lucha Underground under various names and is also the current trios champion along with teammates Daga and Kobra Moon. Now despite me wanting to pretty much stick to writing in kayfabe (mainly due to preventing spoilers and adding to the immersion and suspense of disbelief of pro wrestling), but I'm going to break it and commend Callihan on his dedication to kayfabe outside the ring, after the Eddie Edwards incidient.

Pentagon Jr.
Sami Callihan

Finally we come to Pentagon Jr., his name wasn't repeated as often as Willie Mack or Sami Callihan, but due to how many televised promotions he wrestles for, he has to be on the list. Pentagon Jr. wrestles for Major League Wrestling, Impact, All Elite Wrestling, AAA, CMLL, Lucha Underground, and many more, making his probably the most televised independent wrestler.

Throughout his career he has won over 20 titles and awards and his now at the age of 34, an age where wrestlers are at the start of their prime, and that means Pentagon Jr. has only just gotten started to show everyone the potential he's got.

There you have it, the top 3 indie wrestlers according to the Know It All Discord, I hope to make another one of these in the future.
